Predatar Recovery Tracker
Automated Recovery Testing and Reporting
Recovery Tracker is a fully automated and centralised tool which focuses on testing data recovery processes, whilst at the same time validating backups.
Recovery Tracker is installed and configured in order to make a full recovery of the required production server, by using TSM backups as its single source of recovery for systems, applications and databases. Once a server has been restored, the unique integrity checking process can compare restored data to live data.
The resulting automated reports are presented in a central location and provide details as to whether the recovery was successful or not, at which step it failed, and whether the clients previously defined Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) can be met.
