Automated systems and incident management
Predatar Ticket Tracker is an automated monitoring and alerting tool for operational storage and/or TSM environments, and forms the cornerstone of the Predatar Storage Management Automation platform.
Ticket Tracker is available for both your backup and storage infrastructure; by automating all the resource hungry tasks it is able to provide a single location for incident management of your entire data protection environment. Following ITIL principles, it filters warning events to determine which ones you actually need to know about. Dependant on previously defined customer thresholds, an incident may subsequently be raised automatically through the Predatar online portal. Once an incident has been raised, it can either be managed and resolved in house, or through an external services provider where it has been purchased as part of a 3rd party support contract.
